S2000 owner Steve Ridley was referred to us by a satisfied KAIZENSPEED customer from Spokane. He had just suffered a catastrophic failure of his previous engine and he wanted his S2000 to run reliably at 14 psi on the stock engine. With the factory compression at 11.5:1 we recommended lower compression to run 14psi on pump gas. After installing a thicker headgasket we strapped the car to the dyno and got to work tuning the AEM EMS. We tuned the car to 330+ WHP (Wheel HorsePower), 150 WHP over stock (stock, the S2000 makes about 180 WHP on our dyno). We feel confident that the tune is reliable enough for road racing purposes even on the stock pistons.
